About me
I love music, and my favorite bands are System of a Down and Three Days Grace! I grew up playing a lot of instruments. I love my major (hospitality and tourism) because I love to serve; I love being able to make other people's experiences better! I also want to travel more, and hope to work for an airline or a hotel. I've been to Tokyo, and plan on either going to Romania or El Salvador next.
Why I chose IU Indianapolis
I have found my community and support system at IU Indianapolis and am grateful for what the school has offered me!
My first college work experience
My first work experience at IU was a community work study at a nearby preschool. I was supposed to be an administrative assistant, but because of my prior work experience I was quickly transferred into a tutoring/childcare role. I already consider myself a very flexible person, but I learned to navigate professional spaces much better and found new value in being cross-trained!
