I am a first-gen college student majoring in psychology with a double minor in criminal justice and forensics. I chose my major after taking a psychology course my junior year of high school. I previously was interested in becoming a civil attorney.
I transferred here the last spring semester from my original college of University of Louisville in Kentucky. I ended up transferring due to costs and IU Indianapolis was offering me a full ride, and it was far away enough from my hometown to where it felt like I was still getting new experiences. At first, I was sad to have transferred but it has definitely worked in my favor. I have amazing friends and community here, as well as a cool city to explore!
This being my first college work experience, I am hoping to gain more professionalism. Given that my jobs in the past have been centered around retail, I wanted a job that would give me that feel of working in an office. I am developing my skills in communication, multitasking, and teamwork.
