About me

I served in the United States Air Force and separated honorably after 14 1/2 years of service. During this time, I lived in Japan for 3 years, England for 6 years, and Germany for 5 years. I also deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and went on several temporary duty deployments. I worked as a mechanic on jet engines (C-130, F-15, C-17, C-5), as well as a professional military education instructor. During my military service, I obtained two associate degrees and my bachelor’s in organizational leadership. The past two years I worked for the Department of the Air Force as a Faculty Development Program Manager and instructor. I completed my Master’s in Human Resources with a specialization in Project Management in 2024 through Colorado State University Global. I enjoy disc golf, camping, video and board games. I’m a proud grandfather and have two mini long-hair dachshunds that always bring smiles.

Why I chose IU Indianapolis

I have been working in adult education for the past 2 years and knew I wanted to continue. While my previous career path focused on instructor and collegiate credentialing, I wanted to pursue something focused on students and human resources. The position for Employer Relations Consultant opened and I applied. I am looking forward to expanding my repertoire and serving students and supervisors.
